Henes Broon F870
A $1,000 luxury sports car has hit South Korea by storm, its major highlight: it's designed exclusively for kids.
If you thought your child was already overwhelmed by the amount of gadgets he/she has at his/her disposal, well, think again! A South Korean tech company believes, if you're five (even under), you should have your very own sports car. Now that's every parent's worst nightmare, but that's the way it is. A $1,000 luxury sports car, the Henes Broon F870 has hit South Korea by storm, its major highlight: it's designed exclusively for kids.
The Henes Broon F870 looks every bit like an actual sports car. This 4-feet-long electric super car for kids can touch a maximum speed of 16 kph and comes bundled with an Android-powered tablet that functions as dashboard and infotainment deck at the same time.
The wheel structure onboard the Broon has not even the slightest hint of plastic you normally associate with toy cars. The tires are made of urethane foam that helps curb vibration and noise from the road as also helps in improve the car's performance. Large internal bearings on each wheel allow for smooth rotation.
To add to the scheme of things, the Broon comes with fully functional headlights, brake lights, hazard lights as well as turn signals.
The accompanying Android tablet is a handy one at that as it lets parents adjust various settings, more importantly the car's safety features: maximum speed and driving mode for instance.
Inbuilt sensors help monitor electric current, voltage, direction and internal temperature of the car and help detect any unusual activity associated with the car. Once detected, the sensors help achieve control measures such as initiate an emergency stop or even shut down the whole system.
